Dear Prospective Vendor:
Thank you for your inquiry about the Shipshewana Auction Flea Market. The Flea Market season begins the first Tuesday and Wednesday in May through the last Tuesday and Wednesday of October. Prior to May and after October the Flea Market will be open if weather permits. The indoor Flea Market is held on Wednesdays only, November through April.
The Flea Market is open to the public from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday. We also have extended Market days during Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day weeks. (Vendors may be subject to fine if not open during advertised hours).
Permanent spaces are available for May through October. These spaces can be rented for $35.00 to $43.00 per week depending on location. To become a permanent vendor a $90.00 deposit per space is required, which will be credited to your first month’s rent when you have been allotted a space.
No Show and cancellation spaces are also available each week. Spaces that are not occupied by 8:00 AM on Tuesday are rented as a no show space. To be put on our waiting list for a no show space, you must pay $50.00 in advance per space per week, and must be present at the Flea Market Office by 8:00 AM each Tuesday for the week(s) you requested. Space is available on a first come first serve basis, so there is no guarantee that there will be an available space for you. We refund weekly if you do not receive a space.
Funds for no show space are now being accepted for 2008, 2009, and 2010.
If you would like to be put on the waiting list or are interested in becoming a permanent vendor, please fill out the form on the back side and send it with your deposit/payment and we will return a receipt to you.
